At the summit of the most prominent peak, known as “Red Clouds Golden Peak,” sits the remarkable Fanjingshan Temple. Standing at an elevation of 2,336 meters above sea level, this temple offers breathtaking views and a profound sense of tranquility.

The two temples were initially constructed during the Yongle period of the Ming Dynasty, over 500 years ago. The current structures have been faithfully restored to reflect their original appearance, featuring iron tiles to withstand the powerful mountain winds.
