There are a ton of great things to do as a family in Charleston and it’s the perfect place for a fun-filled vacation.
There is everything from exploration of historical sites to participating in activities that get the adrenaline going. One of the highlights was The Charleston Harbor History Day-Time or Sunset Boat Cruise. A voyage sprinkled with scenic views upon the harbor was welcomed warmly by my children, engrossed in tales of the City’s rich history.
Interactive exhibits, such as the one at Fort Sumter had us playing with a bit of our country’s history all while learning about it in-depth. With it’s ropes courses, zip lines and climbing challenges the Wild Blue Ropes Adventure Park delivered a high energy experience.
But the Charleston Harbor History Day-Time or Sunset Boat Cruise is number one of things to do in Charleston, SC with kids on our list because it is a blast. It was a mix of knowledge and fun, amidst some beautiful nature as well that provided each one of us tales to remember for life!
