Caverns with a sandy and limestone base are found at Ginnie Springs, ideal for several water activities. Riders can float on inner tubes, paddle board or kayak. The spring is also a popular spot for scuba diving and snorkeling, Florida’s favorite freshwater dive. The islands are home to beautiful beaches in popular areas, one of the park’s most famous is Loggerhead Key. Known for its remarkable lighthouse and loggerhead reef which provides a safe haven for sea turtles. If you’re in the mood for something a little more adventurous, check out the Windjammer Wreck — an aquatic paradise where scuba divers and snorkelers can explore a 1875 shipwreck.
